Who wants to combine the healthy open air with an appetising dinner can enter our restaurant De Kanunnik. Do you like to lunch or dine deliciously? The regularly changing cart is time after time exciting and surprising. You will find here lots of tour de forces in a relaxed and homelike atmosphere. The co-workers of the kitchen-brigade as well as the service-brigade are not only competent; they also give off an optimal hospitality. You can already enjoy a culinary three-course menu from € 26.50 per person; and this menu can of course be extended to a four or a five-course menu. For our smaller guests we serve various children’s menus. The restaurant is open daily, in the morning for breakfast, between 12.00 and 17.00 for lunch and from 18.00 to 21.30 for diner.

Rightly, because the covered position behind a 4 kilometres long dune-strip and behind that the beautiful sand beaches, gives this most attractive seaside resort of North Holland something charming. The power of Schoorl is that you can pleasantly stay here for four seasons. Regardless of the season there is space and quietness and there are terrific panoramas. This little village is the pounding hart of various coastal towns that all have their own characteristics. To give an example: the neighbouring artistic village of Bergen has a bustling night life, while Groet offers natural beauty and bird colonies.
