The menu of De Roskam is based on modern French Cuisine; light and elegant but always enough. We are also able to offer you specialities. We especially recommend the seasonal dishes of our chef that are prepared with the freshest ingredients from the market. In addition, we like to serve a fitting wine with all our dishes. For this purpose De Roskam has a very extensive wine list, containing a number of wines that have been specially imported directly from the Languedoc (France). Bon appétit!
Situated on the edge of the Achterhoek, De Roskam is an ideal location for a weekend break. Whether you wish to explore the surroundings by car, bicycle or on foot, there is a lot to enjoy. Even in the past, people appreciated the beauty of the landscape around Gorssel. The many Gelderse castles bear testimony to this. If you go shopping in the old Hanseatic town of Deventer you must not skip the charming little shops in the Bergkwartier. The historical town centre of Zutphen is definitely also worth visiting. And don’t forget Bronkhorst, the smallest town of the Netherlands, which lies, like an open-air museum, on the banks of the IJssel River.
