Dublin is located on the east coast of the Irish island, where the River Liffey flows into the Irish Sea and houses about half million people (1.5 million in Greater Dublin area). The population is remarkably young: about half of the Dubliners is younger than 25 years. Not surprisingly that Dublin is often considered to be one of the more trendy cities in Europe. The city is full of things to see: attractions, museums (National Gallery of Modern Art Museum), historic buildings and of course the Irish pubs (the real deal!) with traditional Irish folk music performances. Stroll through the streets, squares and lanes in the footsteps of James Joyce and discover one of the most hospitable and charming cities in Europe! Dublin is also known for its vibrant nightlife so you know where you have to be if you're up for an exciting trip. In short, Dublin is a fantastic city for a wonderful weekend!
