The most 'city-like' of all cities in the 'Westhoek', Ypres, has everything a real city should have: culture, history, gastronomy and shopping streets. When it comes to history, the remains of the first World War are still very much tangible in Ypres and many tourists are stunned to see or hear or the fascinating war stories.
